Thursday Aug 19
(optional): arrive in Saranac Lake, register/pick up event packet at Borealis
Color, 52-B, Main St. - beginning at 10 AM.
"Paint the Town"
- your
registration fee includes a free 5x7 canvas or paper. Work anywhere
within the Village between the hours of 10 - 4 pm. Bring completed
works to the Adirondack Artists' Guild, 52 Main St., to be set up for a
Silent Auction.
"3rd Thursday
ArtWalk" - from 5
- 7:30 pm there will be artists and musicians throughout the village,
stroll about, visit the various art venues, and enjoy
the evening. "Quickstep" will be performing free, at Berkeley Green.

Friday Aug 20:
Choose a location from the list provided and spend the day outdoors at
work. In case of inclement weather, there will be locations with
covered porches or gazebos. Please
note: blank canvases, panels, paper, etc. need to be stamped at
Borealis Color prior to working on them.

Saturday Aug 21:
Continue working outdoors.
"Meet the Artists"
Reception - 5 - 7 pm at Bluseed Studios, 24 Cedar St. -
Art Exhibition: Intercambio Gráfica Printmaking Exchange: NY –
Mazatlán
The "Paint the Town" Silent Auction
will conclude at this event.

Sunday Aug 22:
Artists will bring no more than 3 pieces of framed work produced during
the weekend, to the Show & Sale
site - the Harrietstown Town Hall - on Main St. in Saranac Lake, at 10
am. Artists will hang and label their own work on racks provided.
Awards Selections
will be made by Anne Diggory, Awards Juror, between 10 - 12 noon.
Show & Sale, 12
- 4 pm: Opens to the public at noon and will go until 4. Award
presentations at 1 pm. Artists
will be responsible for handling their own sales. A voluntary 10%
donation, to Saranac Lake ArtWorks, is requested from any sales.
