Artists and photographers are invited to the historic village of Saranac Lake for the 2nd Annual Plein Air Festival, part of the "Great Adirondack Days" events.

Nestled among the lakes and mountains of the Adirondack Park in northern New York, Saranac Lake has an abundance of charming village scenes, the Saranac Lake "River Walk", and is surrounded by panoramic mountain views, rivers, lakes, ponds, scenic forest locations, rustic lodges, and small farms. There are unlimited "plein air" (outdoor painting) opportunities - everyone will be able to find interesting subject matter or scenic views. Spectators welcome!

Borealis Color, 52-B Main St., will be event headquarters and information will be available at the art galleries and shops in town, and the Chamber of Commerce Visitors Center with directions to the various painting locations.

A show and sale of works created during the weekend will be held on Sunday afternoon from 12 - 4 at the Town Hall.
