FESTIVAL OPPORTUNITY IN LAKE PLACID:
We are contacting you in order to provide you the opportunity to join us for our two amazing fall festivals for one low price!
The first of our festivals is Oktoberfest at Whiteface Mountain. This year’s festival will take place on Saturday, September 30th and Sunday, October 1st and features our usual authentic German music, food and beer, as well as plenty of rides, games and attractions for the family.
The second festival is the Flaming Leaves Festival in Lake Placid on Saturday, October 7th and Sunday, October 8th. The festival features a National ski jump competition, live music, food, games and attractions for the family.
Together, over two back to back weekends, these festivals attract over 8,000 visitors!
Enclosed, you will find an application form in order to secure your spot at either or both festivals. Please return it as soon as possible, as space is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Also, if you know of other vendors who would like to participate, please have them contact us, as we are always open to expanding the list of items available to our audience. Please note that we are looking for one of a kind, hand crafted items, but are willing to look at all, on a case by case basis. Please also note that we work with a food and beverage concessionaire by contract so we cannot allow any vendors selling such items but we do allow pre-packaged food on a case by case basis.
For any questions regarding the Oktoberfest, please direct them to Kelsey Stanton at email@example.com and any questions regarding the Flaming Leaves Festival may be directed to me. Upon acceptance of your application for this year’s festival a confirmation will be sent to you via email.
WANT TO TEACH A CLASS AT THE WILD CENTER? Art in the Park series at the Wild Center. Artists come in on Monday mornings through July and August and teach a three-hour class inside the museum. These workshops have been very successful, and provide an opportunity for our visitors to engage with the center and with nature in interesting ways. We offer $225 per 3-hour workshop, and there may be opportunities for an artist to teach multiple workshops.
Contact Simon Schreier at firstname.lastname@example.org or Interpretive Programs Coordinator (518) 359-7800 ext. 143.
