Financials - $12,000 (includes everything)
Square - for credit card purchases at PAF, Farmer’s Mkt, etc.? - Sandy will research about Square; Cris - PayPal account so we can accept charges

Business Sponsor Program - Get stickers made - ArtWorks too (SH) not done

Plein Air Festival

  • Banners (approx $300 from ArtWorks/$300 from PAF) - Peter will take care of; put up Studio Tour when Plein Air comes down.
  • Schedule - preview party Sat 7 - 9, Town Hall - NO, not possible
  • Volunteers
    • 8-10 am Thurs 8/15 - Artists Guild - check in/stamp canvases - David Z
    • 2-4 pm Thurs 8/15 - Artists Guild - help set up for silent auction; accept paintings - Peter Seward
    • 9 am Fri 8/16 - “Greeter” at VIC; share maps - identify painting locations - Cris
    • 4 pm - Sat 8/16 - Town Hall, accept paintings/hang - Ron
    • 8 am- 5 pm - Sun 8/18 - “host/hostess” at Show & Sale - Lindy; someone in charge of purchases; Cris
    • postcards - Sandy distributed about 500 postcards

  • Advertising - Robin Caudell, Press-Republican - Kim Dedam-Smith - sent press releases

Studio Tour - 43 artists, 9 at outposts, VIC, Carousel, LPCA

  • Advertise - Cris is going to visit studios on Saturday; invited someone from ADK Life to come along; or NCPR

Farmer's Market - cannot do it this year because of insurance; insurance will be changing so should plan on it for next year; budget for tent. Can use Community tent this year, unable to sell. July 27th & Aug 10th - provide PAF stuff; Peter suggested Bluseed visiting artists

Fall & Winter Artist Workshops: Cris - hospitality, sales, sales tax, matting & framing, simple bookkeeping for artists, blogs

Holiday Season: Starting to plan - Bluseed Starving Artist exhibit; put stuff on our web site to promote it. Mark volunteered to photograph.

BLOG - send stuff to Cris; will also submit things for SaranacLake.com

NEA Grant - Mark: we did not get it; will check with Jeremy about feedback

Annual Meeting - pick a date; Nov 12; have a social meeting in September, open to all; Carousel

Title 5 Program - (Chamber has a part-time employee through Dept of Labor - pd for 20 hours/week) - check with Katy

Peter: Mazatlan artists coming - last week of July, 1st week of August (BLOG topic)

Hobofest: Peter - did receive a NYSCA grant;
