Financial Report - all bills paid
Welcome to Maria DeAngelo - she and husband Matt Paul are joining ArtWorks.
The ad Peter Shrope designed for the Upper Saranac Lake Association Cookbook was approved and will be submitted. We need to prepare an ad for the Adirondack Explorer Annual Summer Outings Guide and the Enterprise Summer & Winter guides - these were already approved in our advertising budget.
Susan Moore (Susan Moore <email@example.com>) came at 9 am and spoke to the group about advertising in the various Enterprise publications: Arts in the Park, Weekender, Embark, Sumer & Winter Guides, Calendar of Events. She did suggest that the Enterprise usually publishes all our press releases and often features arts events in the Weekender - it would be nice if we did a bit more advertising.
Susan suggested we send in press releases 3 weeks in advance - then the events will be in the calendar for 3 weeks.
A great deal of advertising information was provided and it was suggested that ArtWorks assemble a smaller committee or group to review the advertising options and offer some recommendations. This should be done prior to the April 13 meeting as deadlines for summer advertising near.
Rack Cards - Todd is nearly finished - still lacking some images. We should try and have them by Memorial Day.
